Jamuna Bridge Toll Rates
According to the new rates for the Bangabandhu Jamuna Bridge, the toll for motorcycles is Tk 50, jeeps or cars is Tk 550, microbuses or pickups below 5.0 tons are Tk 600, a 32-seat bus is Tk 1,000, a 5-tonne truck is Tk 1,000, and an 8–11-tonne truck is Tk 1,600. They have doubled the annual toll rate for trains to Tk 10 million from Tk 5.0 million.
The new toll rate for a truck with a maximum of three axles is Tk 2,000; a trailer up to four axles is Tk 3,000; a trailer over four axles is Tk 3,000; and an additional Tk 1,000 for every other axle.
